What is your delivery charge and expected delivery times?
All orders over £35 qualify for free Standard Delivery which will be automatically taken off at checkout.
For order under £35, Standard Delivery for greeting cards is via Royal Mail which normally takes 2–4 working days with a packaging and delivery charge from us of 87p.
Standard Delivery for all other items is via Evri which normally takes 2-4 working days with a packaging and delivery charge from us of £3.95.
You can combine items and pay one postage charge if it is under £35. We aim to dispatch items within 2 working days from receiving your order.
We also have an option for Next Day Delivery at checkout. For under £150, Next Day Delivery orders for greeting cards placed before 11am will be sent via Royal Mail with a charge of £1.70.
Next Day Delivery for all other items placed before 11am will be sent via Evri with a charge of £4.95.
All orders over £150 will automatically be eligible for free Next Day Delivery with Evri.
We’re also happy to offer international delivery. If you’re ordering from outside the UK, please email us at enquiries@melodyjoan.com with the items you’re interested in and your delivery address, and we’ll provide a postage quote before you place your order.

How do I join your mailing list and be able to track my orders?
To join our mailing list is simple! Firstly, click the person icon next to our search bar.
Wait a couple of seconds for the verify wording to turn into a tick.
Enter your email address and press Get Sign-In Link.
Head to your email and find your email from us (we may be in your junk!)
Click the sign in button on the email. This will direct you back to our website and you are now logged in to your own account.
And that's it! You have now joined our mailing list to receive exclusive offers and sneak peeks. To track your orders, click the person icon when you are logged in, scroll to the bottom and select Track Orders.
To ensure your account and orders are correct, please update any changes in your email address or delivery/invoice address as soon as possible. If you need any support, please contact us at enquiries@melodyjoan.com.
Do you accept returns?
We fully understand you may change your mind so you can send items back within 14 days of receiving them. They’ll need to be unused, in their original packaging, and come with proof of purchase. You’ll just need to cover the return postage unless the item was damaged or incorrect. Sorry, we can’t accept returns on:
• Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
• Custom or personalised items
• Candles that have been lit or used
Once we’ve got your return and checked it over, we’ll refund you via your original payment method — usually within 7–10 working days. Your statutory rights are still protected.
What do I do if my item arrives faulty / incorrect / incomplete?
If something arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or incomplete, please email us at enquiries@melodyjoan.com within a week of receiving it. Pop in your order number and a photo, and we’ll get a replacement or refund sorted.
Refunds: Once we’ve got your return and checked it over, we’ll refund you via your original payment method — usually within 7–10 working days. Your statutory rights are still protected.
Can I view your products in person?
As we are an online company, we are unable to offer for you to come and view all our products in person at the moment. We do however offer a full refund within 14 days of you receiving them if you are not happy with your items. Please read "Do you accept returns" for full details.
How do I care for my jewellery or candles?
Jewellery:
• Try not to get it wet or spray perfume directly on it.
• Store somewhere dry and cool — ideally in the box or pouch we provide.
• Use a soft cloth to keep it shiny (no harsh cleaners). Don’t forget, every jewellery purchase made through Melody Joan has an annual lifetime polishing service free of charge (except postage costs to us, and returning back to you).
• Each handmade piece may vary slightly — that’s part of the charm.
Candles:
• Always pop them on a heat-resistant surface.
• Never leave one burning on its own.
• Keep away from children, pets, and draughts.
• Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn.
• Stop burning when roughly 1 cm of wax is left.
